Have you been watching any movies lately? Planning on catching one? Then you really must go and catch these two awesome movies! I'm sure you will not be disappointed!

Jaden Smith did a really good job acting out the character in 'the Karate Kid'. I like how the focus is not on Jackie Chan but on Jaden instead. The story was rather touching towards the end and I find myself trying hard to hold back tears. An inspiring movie! :)

'Toy Story 3' was entertaining throughout. After so many years, it still manages to bring out the story plot excellently and lives up to its name as a childhood favourite. It's definitely worth watching and adults will love it as much as kids! :)

By the way, I just extracted my wisdom tooth. I had 3 shots of injections before the dentist used a plier-looking tool to extract it out. It was painful despite the numbness. I have to admit, I was kinda scared because it's my first time extracting a tooth at the dental clinic. I'm really proud of myself for enduring the pain and forgoing the painkillers though! It was good while it lasted, Goodbye Wisdom Tooth~

I love fellowship & Marmaduke~

I watched 'Marmaduke' with Sayang today and boy, it was good! I love the storyline and of course, the dogs and a little cute kitten. The movie's hilarious and totally adorable with all the actions going on. If you love animals especially dogs, you should really catch 'Marmaduke'. :)

Then I went for lifegroup with the church ladies. It's my first time with them and amazingly, I felt really comfortable sharing with them, totally at ease. I think it helps that I already knew the leader, Dolly. We shared about managing finances and being faithful in giving to the Lord, was encouraged by the testimonies. God is really great and He blesses at the most unexpected moments. We also shared about each other, about our lives and relationships. It was nice being able to have christian fellowship again. I'm gonna try to join them every week for lifegroup, to grow in the Lord and provide support for each other. I'm so excited for this!

'Slumdog Millionaire' a.k.a 'Q & A' is an awesome read. Though I took ages to finish the book, but I'm so so glad I bought it. At the beginning, it didn't seem so interesting, as compared to the movie. However, as the story progressed, I find myself being drawn into the world of Ram (that's Jamal for those who watched the movie), fascinated by the story behind each question/answer. I wonder how captivating the story will be if there was to be an exact depiction of it. (Danny Boyle changed quite a bit of the story).Hmm...

I'm happy to be reading once again.:)

' Slumdog Millionaire' is an awesome movie! I'm so glad I got to watch it! Now, I wish I can visit India one day. The movie gave me insights into the lives of Indians, their culture and their lifestyles. Often, we would look at India and think of it as a third world country and criticise how unsafe it is, citing examples of foreigners being robbed or cheated on a holiday there. After watching 'Slumdog Millionaire', I began to empathise with the kids in India, understanding that sometimes, their actions are done out of situations. I'm not saying that they're doing the right thing or that the whole of India is like that. I'm just saying that maybe, we should stand in their shoes and think of their situation before we criticise or stereotype anybody. I like the idea of how Jamal became a millionaire, because it is written, and not because he cheated. God loves everyone equally and who says only the rich have intelligence? That's only the arrogant and cocky thinking of some snobs, who think that money makes the world goes round. Ignorant fellows, I must say. Truly, 'Slumdog Millionaire' is a movie worth watching, it triggers off thoughts, made you feel happy you've watched it. I love such movies! Definitely not like other movies, where you walked out of the cinema, thinking you could have spent the time doing something else instead.

I think Ayush who acted as youngest Jamal is so adorable!!!!:D

I have a dream, to travel around the world, to help people, to impact their lives in one way or another. :)

I dreamt that Amin ignored me because he was unhappy that I disturbed him during SDI days, when I thought he didn't mind. He barely talked to me, yet chose to talk to someone that I didn't really like. I was so upset, I cried, in the dream..haha. I woke up and texted him about it. Haha. He assured me that it's just a silly dream. Hee. I miss my SDI gang once again.:)

'Step Up 2''s amazing! It's really worth watching. I'm so gonna get the dvds of both 'Step Up' & 'Step Up 2'. Anyway, today's movie outing was with Khalis and her bunch of strangers, yet again..:S

Teaching the kids taekwondo was much better today. I think I'm getting the hang of it. Haha. Sir gave a talk about the power of dreaming taekwondo..exactly what Taufiq said when I first joined hockey..The power of dreaming something and fulfilling it..:D
