It's a long and tiring day..but all that, was definitely worthwhile. Being able to bring the boys down to East Coast Park to interact with the even smaller boys was fun. It was really great, seeing that all of them thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Many of the boys opened up today, I had the privilege to get to know some of them better. I believe they bonded even stronger as a team through the execution. There's so much that I wish I could do for them, to encourage them and motivate them to dream BIG. I had a great experience today and I hope, the boys will also gain an invaluable experience. I'm so glad to be part of this whole service learning. There's only a few more sessions left...I have to treasure them. I know when I look back, this will be something that I will be proud to be involved in..

Thank you, Trybe, for choosing to believe that I can be involved...

To the Boys, I'm really proud of all of you today...

Most importantly, Thank God, for the chance presented.:)

Yesterday, Uncle invited me to his adik's "pre-wedding ceremony" (Boyanese style, as he emphasised). My first ever Malay wedding ceremony, was quite an eye-opener. :)
These pretty lights could actually be placed up there, amazing...

The whole setting is so beautiful...perfect...

Managed to get a shot of Amin's tulang before he gobbled it down..;P

Other than those, I was really tickled by how Uncle's family resembles him. Little Arfan (his son), his adiks (younger sis & bro) and his father, they looked like they came out from the same mould (well, actually they did ;p). It's like seeing mini Uncle, feminine Uncle, Uncle 10 years ago and Uncle 20 years down the road. Haha..yeah, I get fascinated by this kinda thing. :D

It was great catching up with the dudes, after so long (well, not really that long, but still..!). Should have chosen to take photos of them too. Now, I'm regretting not doing that. Great company, great atmosphere..what more can I ask for..

I feel so blessed~

I should be sleeping. It's late and I'm exhausted, but I just have the sudden urge to do something, to blog about something (actually, I don't know know what's that something). Oh well, I shall just blog about any random thing then...

At this very moment, I feel like doing a lot of stuff, like...

1. play hockey
2. play football
3. watch a live! Singapore football match (Lionel Lewis!!!)
4. study
5. write something
6. do homework (yeah, I know this is pretty insane..)
7. spar
8. run
9. hang out with my friends
10. travel
etcera etcera...

I've got good news though..I PASSED THE PSYCHOMETRICAL TEST!!!
Now, for the next step, there's the interview next monday. Hopefully, I will find the right words to say and convince them that I really have the passion to serve the nation.:D

why don't i speak...
because..it scares me...
to think that i'll say something wrong...

why don't i call anymore...
because i'm afraid to...
to feel like i'm bothering you..that you're not hearing me..at all...

i want to...
tell you how much i care...to show my concern...
but it seems...
i forgot how to...even start a conversation...

i'm worried...
the chats will become shorter...
meetings will cease...
and we end up becoming strangers...

somehow...it doesn't feel the same anymore...
and i wish...WE could make it better...

this yr..i learnt not to expect..
because...
...with expectations, comes disappointment..
